Tionda & Diamond Bradley: Nancy Grace America’s Missing Posted: 11:46 PM ET
In 2001 their disappearance sparked the largest manhunt search in Chicago’s history. 100 detectives assigned to the case and more than 50000 abandoned buildings searched all in an effort to find Diamond and Tionda Bradley.

Who can forget the faces of the two little girls, ages three and ten, who were last seen at a neighborhood playground. The girls left a note behind telling their mother where they would be. That note would set the scene for police pointing them in the direction they needed to go first. This is a case that still haunts Chicago police. They haven’t given up hope. Despite national media coverage the tip needed to bring these sisters home still has not come.

Proof that keeping an eye open and being informed can save a missing child!
Police said quick action by Fresno resident Victor Perez helped Elisa Cardenas escape from pervert Gregorio Gonzolez.
Perez told KFSN-TV he saw the truck's description on TV, then spotted it parked in front of another house. Perez jumped in his car and started following when he saw the truck pull away.
"I was yelling but I kept cutting him off so he would get off the road," Perez told KFSN. "At first, it was just like a simple question, 'I need to talk to you,' and (Gonzalez) goes, 'No, my truck is messing up. I need to leave,' so I said 'OK.'
"I didn't see no little girl. So the second time I cut him off, the little girl stuck her head out. That's when I said, 'OK, that ain't your girl right there.' Because he was hiding her — like pushing her down.
"I thank God he put me here to help out that little girl — that's for sure," Perez said.
The truck was eventually spotted by authorities, who had received a tip about its whereabouts, and Gonzalez was arrested in the parking lot of a Fresno apartment complex.
Dyer said Gonzalez was on probation for a felony domestic violence conviction and had been arrested numerous times, including on suspicion of possessing a sawed-off shotgun.
Police had no motive for the kidnapping. Police said Gonzalez lives with his grandparents and that the pickup truck he was driving belonged to his grandmother.
Police said Gonzalez texted his grandmother saying the truck had been stolen. His grandmother responded by saying she saw on TV that the police were looking for it in connection with a kidnapping case.
Authorities said the victim was playing with six other girls when a stranger approached them and managed to lure her into his pickup. Two adults who saw what was happening shouted for the girls to run away. But the man grabbed the victim and drove away as witnesses chased the vehicle, police said.
Fresno police said Gonzalez fits the description of a man who exposed himself to two girls earlier in the day

Elisa Cardenas FOUND!
Elisa was found about 11 hours after she was snatched while playing outdoors with a group of friends.
Police later arrested Gregorio Gonzalez, 24.
(Oct. 5) -- Authorities in California are crediting two "good Samaritans" with helping rescue an 8-year-old girl who was abducted outside her Fresno home and sexually assaulted.
"I want to say thank you to the citizens of Fresno and the good Samaritans," Police Chief Jerry Dyer told reporters. "They are heroes."
The girl was abducted in front of her Fresno home Monday night, just minutes after police had received a report about a man, believed to be the suspected kidnapper, exposing himself to two other children in the same area, according to news reports.
According to the San Francisco Appeal, witnesses described the suspect as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male, in his mid-20s. He was reportedly driving a 1980s or 1990s Ford or Chevy pickup truck. Using that information, authorities were able to obtain surveillance footage of the truck and an Amber Alert was issued. The FBI was also brought in to assist in the investigation, and more than 130 officers were dispatched to search the area.
Dyer said an unidentified man who had heard the Amber Alert spotted a suspect vehicle around 7 a.m. today. The person did not initially see the girl inside the vehicle but decided to pursue it and eventually saw the child stick her head up.
"He realized right then and there he had the suspect vehicle and he did the right thing," Dyer said. "He cut in front of the suspect vehicle ... [and the girl] took the moment of opportunity. [She] opened up the passenger door and jumped out and ran. Another good Samaritan [then] stayed with her. 40 minutes after the girl was rescued, the California Highway Patrol received a tip leading them to an apartment complex, where they found the suspect inside his vehicle. Gonzalez was taken into custody without incident, Dyer said.
The girl, whom Dyer described as "frightened" and "traumatized," was taken to Community Regional Medical Center. She has been reunited with her mother.
"I got to tell you, it was the highlight of my career seeing [the girl] and her mom unite in the hospital," Dyer said. "Because we beat the odds today, because in many cases we don't find the child alive, and today we did."

Statement from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children
The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child Lover's Code of Conduct” November 11, 2010 The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is issuing the following statement to respond to the decision by Amazon.com, America's largest online retailer, to sell the book “The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child Lover's Code of Conduct” by Phillip R. Greaves. While we have not read the book, in the Product Description on the Amazon.com website, the author Philip Greaves is quoted as saying “This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certain rules for these adults to follow. I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps liter (lighter) sentences should they ever be caught.” The author's own description of the book is clear evidence of the intent and purpose of the book. It is also an admission that the pedophiles he is advising are committing criminal acts against children and violating their basic rights. In a statement that Amazon.com issued in response to the controversy that has emerged it says that it “does not support or promote hatred or criminal acts.” The sexual abuse of children is a serious and pervasive problem. In the United States alone, it is estimated that 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 10 boys will be sexually victimized before they reach age 18. We are outraged at the decision by Amazon to sell this book. How can any reasonable person conclude that this book does not promote criminal acts when its author cites lighter sentences “should they ever be caught” as the purpose of the book? We urge Amazon to take a stand against the criminal act of sexual abuse of children. We ask that they remove this book from their website.

I started this blog after spending hours and hours of watching shows like Nancy Grace and Jane velez- Mitchell. I spent even more time combing the web, visiting Art Harris' The Bald Truth and listening to Levi Page Show looking for any information I could find on missing children.
I was amazed when I started visiting sites like The center for missing and exploited children and others like it, how many missing chidren there are in this country!
One thing I've noticed about the national news coverage on missing kids. Shows like Nancy Grace will stick on one or two cases, and then when there's nothing REALLY breaking on those cases she'll report on Tiger Woods or something equally as irrelivent to boost her ratings, instead of looking for another missing child to air on her show.
In an hour she could report on quite a few missing kids. Of course she wouldn't have alot of time to bash her expert panel or unlease the lawyers! I personally find that offensive...does she really leash them? Like dogs!?! I wouldn't even talk to a dog the way she talks to her guests!
I don't mean to Nancy bash, after all, I do tune in. There is one last thing I want point out. That is that she spends so much airtime talking about her own kids, when that time could be spent covering another missing child!
So, anyways, I know nothing about blogging or linking to other pages. I will do my best and when I figure out how I will provide links to the sites above! Feel free to leave your story, a picture of a missing child, a prayer for all the missing babies, or a comment on anything with regards to the babies. Thank You!
